First opened in May 2017, CitizenM Paris La Défense offers luxurious accommodation with large living rooms, meeting spaces and a 24-hour fully stocked bar. Amazing experience ! very modern hotel !

Fantastic experience ! I loved the room, big windows with amazing view. This is definitely an hotel you will remember. Digital tablet to open and close the curtains, you can even choose the ambient of the room with the colors of the lights. Food, bar and breakfast, very good as well !!

Nice room, the self-check-in was smooth, very quiet, nice views, very friendly staff, excellent location, very clean, good bathroom

The food wasn't great (it was fine but not great and rather overpriced), location is excellent but super difficult to find if you go by taxi, price feels a bit expensive for what it is

Only if you are here for concert

Great location if you are here for La Defense Arena, only 1 min by foot. 5 min walk to nearst metro station, which is acceptable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very small room but understandable this is Paris. Pillow not very comfortable and the bed is too soft. Shower is only ok but not very comfortable.

A very good view from room.

The room temperature is bit cold in the night. The day we arrived was very freezing in Paris. The room is not warm enough for stay, therefore we required an extra bedding.

Amazing staff, parking fantastic, proper coffee at breakfast was amazing, clean rooms and bed really comfortable, love that the whole room is controlled by an iPad. La Defence is always a secret area to stay in Paris so location is fantastic for me.

Room layout was quirky, no bathroom privacy and the basin in the room, booked for my wife and I and our baby with a request for a cot and no cot provided and only 2 towels, but we arrived late and left early so we just sucked it up.

A successful, quick city tour combined with rest in a fantastic hotel.

We back to the room after allday sighseeiting. There was only one room, with cementery view. I was very disappointed, one nice lady at the reception, despite online checkin, helped and it turned out that there was one free room with a view of the arch. I was happy! Thank You!

Unique cemetery views from the room :) else a pretty regular stay

The views from the rooms are certainly special (you can choose between the cemetery + skyscrapers, or the Grand Arche). The technical solutions in the room (such as operating lights and blinds with a tablet) were curious but not much of an added value in my eyes (I could easily do without).

Breakfast was okay but nothing spectacular for a 4-star house (and its price). Only one cheese type, no yogurts or other sour milch options, no veggies... Coffee had to be ordered and later picked up at the bar; you get one cup per person and that not too good either (small size, luke-warm, mediocre flavor). I went for juice instead, which was quite good. Sitting arrangement at breakfast was terrible in my view: just a few smaller tables available, which were typically all occupied, else you had to find yourself a chair to squeeze into a long table with 20+ other strangers. No privacy whatsoever, but perhaps that's their concept though, and others may enjoy this. Overall, I felt that the hotel price was a bit exaggerated, considering the tiny size of the rooms and the somewhat worn-out amenities. But I guess "that's just Paris".

Great comfort if you’re willing to travel

The citizen M are always well designed and super comfortable. The common areas are cool too.

The lifts got busy but not a big deal. Not the nicest part of town but so, so much cheaper than central Paris and transport is good and frequent.

Amazing hotel -- especially for concerts

The iPad controls and the room itself was nice. Location of the hotel and the staff were also very good. Staff are happy to help and speak both french and english. Room also had a safe which was nice! A great place to stay for access to paris la defense arena and lots of great places to shop around the area too. There is a small walk to the train station (5/10 minutes) but its a big station with good connections.

Shower was a bit small and the door hit the shower head when you opened it. However it worked fine and overall was good other than that. A ceiling panel in the hallway was broken on the day I left but this wasn't a major issue.

We were in Paris for a few days and this hotel really suited our needs.

The public area is really interesting and well laid out. The open plan works well. The reception experience was new to my wife and I so we had to get help to register. The staff on hand were very helpful and welcoming putting us at ease making sure we got what we wanted. They also explained all the necessities' to us which helped us relax. Throughout our stay the hotel staff were superb. They always acknowledged you, were very helpful and friendly.

Our room was compact and spaced used very effectively. I got the impression that it has been designed for short duration occupancy which is fine however when you get a mature couple having to climb over each other to get out of bed it did cause some minor friction!!!!
